Gas cookers and hobs are fitted as part of our service. The installation of a
cooking gas appliances can be a lot more straight forward than the installation
of a boiler. Gas hobs which are fitted into the work top of a kitchen unit, these appliances have to be fitted using a ridged pipe line, unlike a freestanding cookers, which are supplied gas though a fixable hose called bayonet.

bayonet hose is the most common form of gas connection used on a
cooking appliance in most homes.

Fitting of either types of these cookers is something we have years of experience in doing, and it needs to be carried out by a gas safe engineer.

Before we start work on any installation the responsible person for the property will be shown by the engineer a valid up to date gas safe id card.

Our installers have the experience to visually inspect an installation and easily workout the best method, no how to carry out the work and also provide the adequate materials for the task.

We have found on some of our installations, when customers decide to upgrade there cooker, some old fittings such as a bayonet or the gas outlet is not compatible with the new appliance to be fitted. For these reason it is very hard to have a fixed price on carrying out a cooker installation, which some of our customers ask for a price over the phone.

As part of our services we like to think ahead and go to each job equipped with  an assortment of
fittings, to help us though these unforeseen situations.
